How can you apply for the U.S / Canada Visitor's Visa?
Gather the required information to apply
Purpose of travel
The person you are visiting in the USA need to provide the following information:
- Full name
- Address
- Telephone
The hotel or organization you are visiting in the USA need to provide the following information:
- Hotel/organization name
- Hotel/organization address
- Hotel/organization telephone number
If you do not have any relatives or friends in the US, we can make a hotel reservation for your accommodation. Reach out to our team and they will advise you accordingly.
Where will you stay while in the U.S.A?
For your application, we will need the person with who you will be staying with full name, address, and telephone number. If you will be staying at a hotel we will need the hotel name, address, and telephone number
Invitation letter
The invitation letter is only necessary when you plan to attend a wedding, graduation, funeral, or business trip. If you are traveling for regular vacation purposes the invitation letter is not a requirement. The invitation letter can be scanned and emailed to you; please print it and take it along with you to the Embassy.
Death certificate
If you are attending a funeral. The death certificate can be scanned and email to you from your relatives in the US. Please print it and take it along with you to the Embassy.

Passport Information
Valid passport
Your passport should have at least (6) months remaining before it expires. However, it's best to renew your passport if it has less than one (1) year remaining.
Expired passport
We will need your expired passports if you were issued a US visa before its expiration date
Current employment
Employed persons
For employed applicants, you are required to provide information on your current employment start date and your monthly salary before taxes. It is best to request a job letter from your employer if you do not remember the date you started working, as the job letter will state the date you began working and your monthly salary before tax
Self-employed persons
Your employment details will be taken upon visiting our main office to complete your application
Registered business owners
You are required to provide information on the date when your business was registered in order to complete your application. The date can be found on the business registration certificate that you received from the Companies Office of Ghana.
For a persons sixty (60) years or older
No job information is required since that is the prescribed age of retirement.
Students
Students attending secondary, tertiary, or training institutions. You are required to provide information on the school starting date, name of institution, and contact number to complete their application. For children six (6) years of age or younger. No school information is required to complete their visa application form.
Previous employment history
You are required to provide information on the name of the last two (2) companies worked, address, job title, contact number, employment start date, end date, previous supervisor’s last name, and first name. If you do not remember all the information about your previous employment, you are able to apply without this information.
Secondary, Tertiary, or training Institution
You are required to provide information on the name of the last two (2) school that you attend, address, the program of study, program start date, and end date; if you do not remember all the information about your education history, you are able to apply without this information.
